Her stance on gay marriage is not what I was referencing when I said that she was a hypocrite. If she doesn't support gay marriage, for whatever reason, then that is fine. I certainly have no problem with her having an opinion and sharing it, doesn't mean we have to agree.

What I have a problem with is the lying. She took racy pictures. They are all over the Internet. Half naked, no bra, parts showing that, I would assume, someone of her high moral ground would not flaunt in a picture to be distributed for publication.

Yet, she kept these pictures from the pageant officials, which was totally against their rules. So, the pictures hit the net and she immediately goes into CYA mode and starts lying. Blaming it on the photographer, the wind, a wardrobe malfunction. Whatever. The point is, she allowed (and if you look at the pictures you can tell that it wasn't the "wind" that did it) and approved the pictures. Then lies about them.

Oh, but then the real winner of the pictures of her appears. I don't think the wind stripped her down to just her underwear.

She took them, own up and quit lying. Blame on bad judgement but at least be honest. Isn't Miss California, Miss, USA or whatever she is, supposed to be honest? Isn't she supposed to project good values?

That is why I was calling her a hypocrite.

I agree, I saw those pics and the wind was not apparent. I am not judging her on those pictures but I just wish she would own up to them. If you notice, there are a lot of pageant girls with the "racy" pictures. She would NOT have been overlooked because there seems to be a history of pageant winners with pictures like that out there, I mean look at Vanessa Williams and the other one who got in trouble for taking crazy pictures last year. I am sure these pictures would of been leaked out regardless of Miss. Cali's quote because this has happened before to other pageant women.

Lordy, I hated her and I hated that she was allowed to represent my fair state.

She can't speak in public correctly. She allowed racy photos of her to be taken and those are against the rules. She decided that she is above the pagentry's rules and standards. (Look at the recent published emails between her and pagent reps.)

Miss Holier-Than-Thou would be a better title. I'm an agnostic, but really, do nice Christian girls take such racy photos?

Had she answered any other question but the gay marriage one she would not have been a thought. Pictures of her nude would have be overlooked. I could careless about any of it. The world is so far gone that Miss California is the least of our problems. But let us be real here. The reason she was let go was because of her answer. Dress it up any way you want. I tend to believe that she was fired because of her persistent refusal to attend events scheduled for her.

Trump is pretty tolerant of all kinds of views, as evidenced by the fact that she wasn't fired the first time the public cried fowl over her answer nor the second time the public cried fowl over the pictures.

However, when she refused to attend over 30 bookings the past couple of months, that is major $$$$ and to Trump, $$$$ is his only morality.

If they wanted to let her go due to what she said, then they would have done that before. The pictures where the perfect opportunity get rid of her, within their rules and guidelines. Why hold a press conference and say she is staying? ITA with what goofy said below. It's all about the money.

Shana quit after they allowd Prejean to keep her crown, a few weeks ago. The whole thing is just one big faked tanned, make-up gooped, gallons of Aqua Netted train wreck!!

hum...Actually no, she was given another chance despite the pictures and everything else. But she was missing work to the point they had to hire someone else to fulfill her duties.

If you've read the snippets of emails that have been published, you'd understand why she was fired.

NO ONE talks to their boss the way she did and gets to keep their job. She didn't want to do what her "job" was, so she got fired.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.
