My hubby and I just retuned home from our 25th anniversary trip to the world. While we didn't stay at the Fort during this trip, we did visit the Fort...a lot.
We talked to a manager at the Trail's End during lunch who told us that, in spite of rumors, Hoop-Dee-Doo would be accepting ADR seating for the Oct.-Dec. time period sooner rather than later.
We sure hope he is right. Trail's End lunch was great. My hubby highly recommends the pulled pork sandwich...delicious and enormous.
Fort specific merchandise available at the Settlement - tee shirts, mugs, car tags, magnets and stickers/decals. There may have been a few other small magnet type stuff, but I can't remember anything right now. The staff tells us if we want to see more, we should write, call, etc. and request more fort specific stuff.
Overall the Fort looked great except for the road/concrete work at the front bus stop. Hopefully it will be complete soon. I will say it rained on us EVERYDAY. We still had a great trip and feel blessed that we were able to spend our 25th anniversary in WDW.
We highly recommend Shades of Green (military eligibility required) if the Fort is not an option.
