Paigey, why didn't you tell me you started this thread??? I looked at my coins for years...I still have my coin books from when I was a kid. We used to get the rolls of coins from the banks and go through them and then return rolls to the bank and get more. I wasn't into that, but my dad sure was. It's still a habit to look at the pennies and make sure there aren't any old ones--I can't spend the old ones.
I usually check my pennies - especially if one isn't very shiny. I search for mint dates of years that my friends were born and enclose those in their Birthday cards.
Um, no? You're talking to someone who started a thread about mint dates...........why would I see anything wrong with ordering your dollars by mint date?
