jmho.... it isn't the elderly racists that bother me so much.. old habits sometimes die very hard......
it is the kids, the young people of this country who are outlandish and racist that scare the poop out of me.... I know that many are products of racist upbringing.. that is horrid enough.. but to hear them spew hatred, violence and ignorance to the world, to one another and to THEIR kids is scary....

Racial prejudice by my own family cause me to make decisions that changed my life in ways that many will never understand. However.. once I decided that my interacial relationship /marriage was about dh and myself I chose did not to let it wear me down or wear me out.....
In life you are responsible for what you do..... not what others do.. so I say.. Have a happy life, be aware of your surroundings, be positive and be kind to those whose ignorance sometimes wears thin.....
