Anyone know why it hasn't been opened lately? It was closed when we went early December and I have noticed it hasn't been open the last few times I have looked on the app.

I understand they are getting a divorce and the house has been sealed until division of assets has been worked out.

Seriously, though, there were some whispers of call-outs and understaffing when I was there 2 weeks ago. It wouldn't surprise me if they were closing it because it's labor intensive (A minnie, a handler, and a photog for each meet & greet room, plus at least a couple line attendants. Putting Minnie out on the street at least reduces it to 1 Minnie, 1 handler and 1 photog)

Is there more than one place to meet Minnie at her house? I thought it was just the one. And there hasn't always been a photographer when we've seen her.

There are multiple rooms in Minnie's house, with a Minnie in each room. They use sleight of hand to make it look like one room. Note the number of doors when you exit the back of the house after meeting Minnie. Each one of those doors is the exit from a separate Minnie room.

Edit: Ya know, I was thinking of Mickey's house. *sheepish grin*

I'm left with no theory for why Minnie's house is closed, unless they are doing clean-up or improvements.

I was wondering if there had been some significant change to Minnie's house since the last time I was there! We've only ever met her in her little garden.

It makes sense that it's more cost effective to have her out with a handler. I just want to see her house sometime!

It's a good thing they will be charging $10/person/day for MaxPass so poor broke Disney can afford to properly staff for Minnie's house...

I am confused... I thought there was only one place to meet Minnie when going to her house, also even if she isn't there for pictures normally the house is open to walk through, which in my opinion is the fun part! Has her house changed??

When we were there early Dec she was there for a very limited time each day. I can't remember exactly but I want to say like 2-4 or something. I was wondering before we went as well because it always showed as no wait on the map on the app.
I just had a thought and looked on the character list on the app and they have her at "Minnie's House" today (Jan 13) from 10-1:30 and 2:30 to 4:30 I guess I don't know if she's in her traditional place at her house or just standing outside...but check the app for her times there.

I'm an ap, and though I only go every 4-5 weeks, I've never seen Minnie in every room of the house either. I, to, have only ever seen it as a walk through with Minnie in the garden...maybe there was a big change recently?

As I stated above, it was my mistake, I was thinking of Mickey's.
