Minnie Van from Disney Springs for rope drop

Can you walk to the Minnie Van pickup area at Disney Springs from offsite hotels before Disney Springs security opens (which I think is around 9am)? Wondering if it’s a viable option for rope dropping. Thanks!

Walking over to SSR maybe a better option.

Doubt it, as Disney Springs doesn't open until 10AM.
