Our flight is scheduled to get in at around 730pm. My kids don't do great at night so we are entertaining the idea of taking a Minnie Van, but I am wondering if by the time we get our luggage if that would really be faster. Does anyone have an experience with this? Not sure if its relevant, but we are staying in the AoA.

Thanks!

I think Minnie Van will be faster than using Magical Express. With ME you never know how long you will sit on the bus before it starts moving. We’ve waited almost 1/2 hr on one trip and 5 minutes on another. It’s unpredictable.

Also, ME won’t necessarily take you directly to your resort. They stop at multiple resorts. Yours could be first or not.

Having said all that, a Minnie Van from MCO is a big expense. Uber and Lyft are options too. It all depends on how fast you want to arrive at your resort and how much you are willing to pay for it.

Thank you so much! We will definitely think about it!

PP sums it up well. A Minnie Van (or car service) is about as quick as it gets. They meet you at baggage claim, you grab your bags, head down the elevator to the below ground car waiting area where Minnie Vans (and other hired car services) park, and you're off. It will be quicker than DME in most circumstances unless you just got lucky with your DME bus leaving right away and AoA being the first stop.

The airport Minnie Van is outrageously expensive relative to hired car service options (which are both more expensive than Uber/Lyft/cab), but we have been impressed by the level of service and convenience.
