Minnie Mouse Party

Ok so I am doing a Minnie Mouse Party for dd 1st bday.. I have someone making a custom minnie head cake for her and I ordered her a custom made Minnie pillowcase dress... I know I am going to be doing the Mickey head cheese slices but what else would be good with that theme?? I already have clear plates and cups so I am going to get red napkins and a red table cover and some mickey/minnie balloons and hopefully red and white polkadot ones if I can find them...

How about getting some red and white polka dot paper and cutting mickey heads and gluing or taping them to the bottom of the plates so they show thru on the bottom?

Where did you get mickey head cheese slices?

oh that is a good idea!! thanks!! You can get the cheese "heads" at Wal-Mart... they are in the same area as the string cheese!

Buy a Mickie or Minnie paper punch, and you can make your own confetti to sprinkle around the tablecloth. Decorate the cups with stickers, too!

Try getting some little toys that you think will ammuse your DD that you can use with the plate settings. If you don't think they would scare her try getting some litte red noise makers (the kind that you blow into). You could also do a cute certerpiece with a few Minnie Mouse plush dolls and maybe some flowers. Don't forget the bows, if the napkins are big enough try wrapping them around the untensils like they do at restaurants and tie them together with big white floppy bows (if you can't get polka dot). Will your DD color (I can't remember what age that starts at)? If so you could get some Minnie coloring pages, too.
