Does anyone recall when the Minnie Marathon 15K closed in previous years?

I'm still looking for a good airfare and hoping one will come available in the next couple of weeks. However, I realize I run the risk of the race closing before then.

Susie...:lmao: It's never filled!! I think that is one reason Disney is wanting to change it. HTH!!

:lmao:

Then why the heck can't I get a good airfare? The weekend before is good, the weekend after is good. Geez! I'm still trying to figure out why everyone is trying to get out of Arkansas that weekend. Hmmmm. :scratchin

pixiedust: Pixie dust your way for a good airfare.

I had the same problem with airfare a few weeks ago. It seemed that all the cheap flights were the weekend before or the weekend after... but nothing during that week. Luckily, there was a seat sale and we were able to snag two tickets for the dates that we wanted. Here's some pixiedust: hoping you're able to get tickets at a good price!! :goodvibes

Susie we are having the worst time with air for this trip too. It hasn't changed in over a month I think now. Except to inch UP. It's been running $100+ over what we normally pay.

I'm getting desparate. I'm hoping we find something so we don't have to drive down. But I HAVE TO HAVE THAT MEDAL! *sigh*

Diane? Southwest keeps going down. Do you not like them or was it better last year. Compared to flights out of GR, I'm thrilled. Plus, a N?S out of RG is near impossible.

Wow, I was able to cash is for free tickets on Northwest. I wanted to use my miles up now that they were bought out. I have kind of crappy times, but happy I am able to go.

I hope everyone can get CHEAP flights!

As for SW here...they are more expensive at around $450. Go figure. I can get down there for $121. But, coming back....:sad2:

Guess you are just going to have to stay:lmao: :lmao:

When I fly SWA I usually book each leg of the trip separately, that way if one way or the other goes down I can rebook that portion. I've seen where the flight down goes up in price but the trip home goes down....when you book separately you can take advantage of the best deals. If you want to take a chance you could grab the $121 flight down and hope for something better to turn up for the trip home - if it does you've locked in the cheaper cost to Orlando.

Once I've booked SWA I always keep checking to see if the price goes down - there is no charge to rebook the same flight. You don't get money back, but credit to use on a future flight. I booked my flight from Indy to Orlando at $99 (and applied a $70 credit from a past flight), then the flight went down to $79 so I have a $20 credit waiting to use!

I'm really WISHing that you can find a reasonable flight!!
