Minnie Bride Ears

Hi everyone,

I heard that the old style minnie bride hat was discontinued, and unfortunately the headband style is just not me....i've searched everywhere, i can't find them on ebay either...does anyone have a clue, a lead, or know someone willing to sell theirs to me? You name the price....I'M DESPERATE!!!!

mouseshoppe.com used to have them...but it looks like they have it listed as "unavailable" now.

You could keep trying there, just in case...but since Disney has discontinued that particular hat, you might have a hard time finding them now.

I hope you find some!!

you can try ebay, or if you google minnie bridal ears hat or something like that you may find them!!!

good luck! I had to get the hat b/c the headbands give me massive migraines...well headbands of any kind, but either way it would not be a good way to start out a honeymoon!!!

Some people wear the headbands fine, some people report getting terrible headaches. I'm one of the people who get terrible headaches if I wear the headbands. Luckily I was able to snag one of the old style Minnie bride ears on eBay.

How much do the headbands go for at the store in WDW? I see they are on ebay for about $25 (before shipping). Would you suggest buying them before you go on your honeymoon or wait and get them at WDW? I am just afraid they will be sold out when I go. That would make me so mad!

Headband Minnie bride ears in my icon. They're pretty comfy - I wear them at work all the time (I manage a gym, and being goofy is part of the job description). The groom ears are a top hat - no headband.

I think they're running about $16 at the stores in Disney. I don't think you need to order them before hand. We found them in several locations throughout Disney (MouseGear in Epcot, the Boardwalk gift shops, World of Disney in DTD, etc.) so I don't think you need to worry about them being sold out.

The tophats (groom ears) have a reputation of being a little small. My DH wore his (proudly) but they were tight on him.

I made my own headband because I do tend to get headaches with headbands and I thought I had read that the headband bride ears were INITIALLY intended for little girls "Princess" ears. I think that's probably changed now...anyway, to make sure I wouldn't get a headache, I purchased my own white headband (and tried it on to be sure it was comfortable) and made my own ears. No headaches for me!

I have the original hat style bride ears but (as embarrasing as it is to admit ) I have a large head and big hair and the hat doesn't fit well. If anyone has bought headband style ears and would prefer the original hat style, I'd be happy to swap mine with them.

They are in perfect condition - I've never worn them. PM me if interested.
