We're travelling to MCO in May (2 adults, 3 children, loads of luggage/strollers etc.) Any advice on the best vehicle to rent to get us all in? We looked at the Dodge Caravan from Dollar/Chevy Venture from Alamo, but with the seats up there doesn't look like much room for the luggage etc. Alternative would be a Cherokee (Dollar) or Trailblazer (Alamo).

Any thoughts/experiences?

Thanks

Woody

Welcome to the boards. Since you are taking strollers I will assume you have small children. I can only speak for the Venture as that is what we have. In the second row of seats you can only fit 2 people comfortably with carseats. So one would need to be in the third row. The third row seats split so you can put one down for more cargo space. I would say that you can get 2 stroller ( the big graco type) and three to five pieces of good size luggage. It just depends on if you have the soft side duffle type or the more hard shell type. Also one can fit by the sliding door. I hope this helps. :flower:

When we went in Feb. (4 adults, 3 kids) we were going to get a caravan from dollar but when we got there we upgraded to a full size van for just $10 more a day. We dubbed it 'the party van'. Lots of room for everyone!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
