Minimum Age for Castaway Cay 5K

My family will be on the Disney Dream in February 2018 right after the Princess Half. My oldest son is showing some interest in running. I would LOVE to run the Castaway Cay 5K with him. He will be 6 at the time of the cruise. Will he be allowed to run the Castaway Cay 5K at this age?

He will not be allowed to officially participate as I believe 10 is the youngest allowed to register. He is free to run the course if he chooses.

That's correct. Anyone can technically run the course, but you have to be 10 to register, get a number and receive a medal. The course is in a public area and many non-racers will be there before you are done.
