Minimum add-on thru DVC?

DH and I were trying to remember what the minimum add-on amount is now thru DVC. When we bought in 2002. we did an add-on of 25 points thru DVC a few months later. However, now it's more, isn't it? Also, I'm wondering what the minimum buy-in is? We bought at 150 points, but isn't it more now?

I believe you can still add on 25 points. The minimum "buy in" from DVC direct is 160 points.

If you want Disney financing the minimum add-on for existing members is 50 points. If you are using cash or your own financing the minimum add-on is 25 as stated above.

When we did the tour earlier this month, our guide mentioned a special buy-in package at AKL of 100 points. We weren't interested in AKL, so we didn't inquire further.

True, however you can get two 25 pointers and still get the financing... As long as the entire add-on equals 50 or more.
