Mini Wedding Cake: Flavor Choices?

We're planning to have one of those mini wedding cakes to celebrate our anniversary after dinner at Narcoosees...

Anyone here know what the choices are for cake/fillling flavors?

Is fondant icing an option for one of these minis?

I remember cheesecake was an option (that's the one we got) and I believe chocolate was another choice. There's probably a couple more, but I'm just not remembering. Good luck!

think i remember on the food network fairy tale weddings show that one mini was made with an almond cake and almond mousse

will just call the Grand Floridian bakery & find out!

Are these only offered at the Grand Floridian restaurants? Sounds perfect. We're haing our anniversary dinner at CG and the baker at the CR told me the only choices are white cake with white icing or chocolate with chocolate icing only. Maybe we'll switch to Citricos!

yes, these mini "wedding" cakes are only available at GF restaurants and can't be delivered to the other resorts

Yes you can do it at the tea. That is where we usually do it.

If you ask this same question on the Weddings Board, the posters there can very quickly send you pictures of their multiple mini cakes, and all the flavors that Disney does. Also, try pm'ing Janet2K, I think she used the mini cakes that were really cute.

The CM I talked to said I could do yellow cake or chocolate. When I chose chocolate she said, "With dark chocolate mousse filling?" I thought that sounded fine so I said ok. I should have asked what all the possible flavors are I guess. It was $25 and they'll deliver it there in time for our reservation; she looked it up while I talked to her.

someone on the wedding board said the only choices for a 2 tier mini cake are chocolate with chocolate mousse filling, yellow with white chocolate mousse filling or cheesecake - for a 1 tier cake, you can have the white chocolate castle atop

That's what Jeffrey from IPO told me this morning; I ordered our mini anniversary cakes for our trip in Nov. and Jeffrey asked what did we want and those were the flavors he gave. DH chose choc w/choc mousse & I chose the cheese cake. we're going to have ours at the Yachtmans Steakhouse for part of our anniversary celebration.
