mini van rental for August

Well, I've been checking and checking - anyone do any better than $367 for a week's rental of a mini-van in August?

I could have gotten a cheaper minivan rental (around $200 total for the week) with one of those 'questionable' codes at National & Alamo, but decided not to risk it. I'm stressed enough! LOL!

I used the SW code and got a rate of $338.25 for a week. The base fee is the same, but I have more taxes. Where are you picking up the van TheDisneyFamily?

I just tried to use the code again to see if my taxes were somehow wrong and got the same message.

We're picking up and dropping off at the Regal Sun across from Downtown Disney Marketplace. I just priced it again, exactly how I did it before, and the price is up about $60. I guess I booked at a good time.

I booked the same code from sw's website this is the best deal as of right now!!

Try entering the code in the 'corporate' box instead of Promo.

I tried the code in both boxes - it still didn't work using the sirport as pick up. Using the Regal Sun it still works, but the rental has gone way up from my airport price a few weeks ago.

If you haven't yet, try Mousesavers.com for rental codes. We got mininvan from Dollar in Nov. for about $270. We picked up at Regal Sun as well(had ME so didn't need 1st day), and used code OOAG or OCVB I think??, (cheaper than SW or BJ's), and signed up for Dollar's "club" to have quick check-in. You also might want to play w/drop-off/return times - some companies charge for extra day if you return anytime later than when you picked up, while others give 1-2hr. grace pd. Also, look for extra fee if you have to drop-off at diff. location(as we did to Tampa airport) - Regal Sun location had lower fees for that. there are other tips like this on the website as well. Hope this helps!

Ok since my trip is just around the corner I do have a question..

we booked through sw with the SW2358 (dollar car rental)

code now we also have a dollar express card. Can we use this card to

express ourselves?? With sw they never asked us for our Dollar express

number.
