Arrived Wednesday Thanksgiving weekend for a four night stay. Had a supersaver basic room rate with free a platinum upgrade to a suite. Arrived at 1:00 pm and had previously requested room in tower one. Room was ready and ended up with with a pool view. Also received a $100 stay credit and bowl of fruit upon check-in. Headed over to the parks which were not busy with all attraction a walk-on with the room key. Housekeeping was outstanding with coffee, toiletries replenished each day along with some free bottled water. Front desk was helpful with all requests.
Made a priority seating at Mythos for Thanksgiving day which resulted in no wait for a table. Mythos was great as usual. Ate at Jakes two evenings for late evening snacks which were fine. Looked over at the Islands Dining room Thanksgiving buffet. Looked good but we were going to Tampa for Thanksgiving dinner on Friday so we skipped it ($44 for adults).
Ate at Flippers and NBA City which were both very good. Mel's Diner was closed and most of the other theme park food (except Mythos) was only fair.
Thanksgiving day at the parks was busier than last year but not bad. Saturday was busy but not overcrowded.
