Just back from 8 fabulous nights, 3 at Royal Pacific at Universal & 5 nights at the Boardwalk Villas at Disney. Here are some highlights:

Royal Pacific & Universal/IOA - Nice, but not Disney. This is the first time we went to these parks, as well as Sea World. The Mummy ride at Universal is awesome. We were there for Mardi Gras too which was a lot of fun. Other than that, I wasn't that impressed.

Boardwalk Villas - loved them! We had a studio on the 5th floor overlooking the pool. Had a view of Tower of Terror. Loved having my coffee on the balcony every morning. Kids loved the pool & slide. I think the location is ideal being so close to Epcot & MGM & the resort is beautiful. The downside for us was actually food. We got tired of the Boardwalk Bakery every morning. Tried ESPN for dinner & the food was good, but it's way too noisy! We couldn't wait to get out of there! The menus at Spoodles & Flying Fish did not appeal to my kids. Tried the pizza window at Spoodles one night & the pizza was horrible. We ended up going over to Beaches N Cream at the Beach club twice. Loved the roast beef sub & the desserts were fabulous!

Used Murray Hill Transportation & service was excellent as always. I have tried other town car services, but Murray Hill is the one I keep coming back to. Cars are very clean, drivers very friendly & helpful.

Parks - The only park that had long waits was Magic Kingdom. Went there on a Monday & the wait times became unbearable for us by early afternoon. Went back for EMH night at Magic Kingdom on Wed. I think, & it was wonderful. We waited no longer than 15 mins. for anything & most attractions had no wait at all. Tried the Stitch ride & hated it! My DDs 16 & 9 didn't like it at all either. I would never bother to go on it again. It was really disgusting with Stitch burping & spitting the whole time. We didn't think it was funny at all, just gross & annoying. We tried Turtle Talk with Crush at the Living Seas at Epcot. That was excellent! We all loved it. It's a must see IMO.

Bus & Boat transportation from BWV to the parks was good. We shared buses with Swan & Dolphin but never had a long wait & never had to stand. The boat ride back from MGM is kind of long with stops at the Swan & Dolphin and Beach & Yatch club before stopping at the Boardwalk.

The weather was not great for us. It was cool & rainy about half the week. We did have a wonderful trip though & can't wait to go back. :Pinkbounc

Welcome back! :wave2: It's great to hear about other's trips, since mine is so far off! Glad you had a great time, and I'm also glad to hear The Mummy was a good ride....I'm looking forward to trying it next time we're over there.
