Mini Report 8/14/04 Magic

The excursions for Grand Cayman will be credited to your shipboard account. THe Cap. says Grand Cayman would have been fine for docking however he must urge on the side of caution since the storm may regain strength. He does not want to put his passengers at any risk.

They are working on excursions for Nassau on Thursday. Will have some info on Tues for that.

Excursions for Cozumel will be pushed up a few hours. Interested not we were told NOT to change clock today. THe ship time will stay the same however when we leave the shi[p on Cozumel it will be an hour early.

Seas have been good and the ship is very full. I had heard many strories of how people were bussed from all over to either Port c. or Key West. Some even tooks limo's (Disney covered costs) SOme luggage for people are still missing. Disney is giving them some credits for clothes. THe luggage was supposed to make it to Grand Cayman....not sure what will happen at this point for their luggage.

All in all it has been a good cruise.....good news we will be a Castaway Cay early on Friday. We can disembark at 7:30 A.M.

Were you suppose to stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort on Friday? We checked out of there on Thursday and boarded the Wonder and had 3 beautiful days. Hope things are going well. Thanks for the update.

On the cost of getting to Key West. If you booked Disney transfers, then Disney "transferred" you without extra cost from wherever you landed. Not sure about folks who had planned other transportation though.

DD said they had coaches coming in from several locations on Sunday.

I'd treat Nassau as a day at sea if I were onboard this cruise. I've been there three times and care to never go back again.

I think she is saying that Disney had buses coming from different areas to meet up with the ship on Key West.

i'm with you crsndsny and not just on sep 4, lol, i probably wouldn't get off at nassau either and we've only stopped there once. as a fellow passenger put it "nassau is the mexican border town of the caribbean."
