Mini Pins....Please Help!

I keep reading about mini pins that the Pal Mickey's trade.

I have never seen one of these pins for sale....I found many pictures but no one seems to be able to tell me if these were ever for sale or only came with Pal Mickey.

Can someone please help me to find some?

Pal Mickey didn't come with any pins.

I made my Pal a pin lanyard. Some of his pins are actual mini pins.
I found that earrings work the best.
The stud earrings tend to be small enough.
I trim the stud down.
Because earrings tend to come in sets of two, this leaves your Pal an extra one to trade with another Pal.

Disney did make a few doll sized lanyards, with some doll sized pins.
They will probably come out with another one at some point, I don't think they have any on the market right now, that does not with an actual doll. There are some pin trader collector dolls available (both on eBay and from disney direct).

Some of the GWP (gift with purchase) pins are small enough to work well.
Others are too large.
Some of the pins from the Disney store in Japan may be small enough.

The add-on pins from the build-a-pin series work well. They don't really have a pin point, but rather have two studs sticking out of the back.

Eileen is correct, there are no special mini pins that come or are aasociated with Pal Mickey.

When the Disney Store sold their sweet heart dolls, I bought one of the lanyards that were sold separately for the dolls. Then when they closed them out, I bought a few extra. this was several years ago before I even knew about pin trading. I just thought they were cute, and loved the mini Pooh pin. I love Pooh and things that are miniature.

I have about 4 of the tiny lanyards and they are all full of mini pins. They are all Disney pins, from Japan or GWP from DL, and other various ones. I always try to get extra's when I can, mostly get them off CM lanyards. There is one CM in AK at WDW who has a small frog attached to his vest that trades the mini pins. I have a small plush Pooh I take with me that wears a mini lanyard, and his frog and my Pooh traded. It was FUN!!

Here is my Pal with his Lanyard.
I think it is too heavy with pins, and am thinking that lighter weight pins, with shorter point stud things, are best.
But I don't want to ruin any of my actual mini pins, by grinding them down.
I don't mind trimming the earring studs (because I don't wear earrings, and as cheap as these are, I can easily remove the back and re-attach a stud earring attachment).

I did see one CM with a frog in AK that has mini pins on it that will trade for
other mini pins.
