10" start at $299. Lots more color options on those.

Sometimes you can find a coupon for them if you visit www.twitter.com/delloutlet but nothing is there now.

DS's Asus 1000HE was just delivered today. I'm playing with it now, under the pretense of adding virus software (which was done an hour ago, lol). It's pretty cool, although typing on the smaller keyboard takes a bit of getting used to.

We still can't figure out how to use the web cam though. I suppose reading the manual would help.

I had a little trouble adjusting to the keyboard. What works best for me is to just not think about it and type. Does that make sense? If I'm careful, I hit the wrong keys.

I have no idea about the webcam. I avoid them!!

I bought my 9 year old a MSI WIND Netboook 10" (for her birthday). I got it off QVC for $328. I liked her PINK one so much I went to their website and bought myself a black one. They had refurbished netbooks for $249. They have Windows XP on it and I live this little baby. Here is the link for refurbs if anyone is interested - they are now $289.

We have an Asus Eee PC and it's perfect for internet surfing and my husband uses it at work to test people's cable and phone connections (he's a cable guy). I want another one, in pink, just for me and the kids.

Keep in mind the small ones usually do not have internal CD/DVD drives though.

They're great though, it even fits in my purse so I can take it to Starbucks or Barnes & Noble to surf while I have coffee!!

I am sitting here at OKW using my new Acer Aspire and am sooooo happy with it!! I got it for $279 at Amazon free 2 day shipping... got the one with the 6 cell battery and have been really pleased with how long it last... at least 5 hours on a charge... performance is super for such a small machine.... it is definitely my new favorite toy!

It's amazing at how long the batteries last in some of the netbooks. I got my DS the Asus 1000HE for high school graduation, and it has 9.5 hours of battery life.

My husband bought this exact netbook for me as a combination Mother's Day/Birthday Present, and I love it! I am tired of schlepping my laptop case through bag check to visit my daughter; I am excited to have something that fits in my purse. The battery life on this model is awesome! I've been researching(dreaming of) netbooks for a few months, and this model was my second choice(behind Asus 100HE). When I received an email from Sam's Club advertising the Acer, I checked Amazon, where it was $10 cheaper, and offered free shipping. I also purchased a small carrying case...it looks like a tiny cosmetic bag! The only complaint I have is the scroll button thingy...it is real sensitive. I am glad the netbook came with a small mouse!
