I know this is a long shot but does anyone know of any coupons for the mini IPAD?

thanks

Last year Target had a 10% off on ipods on their website I was hoping for something like that, but I'm sure probably not.

Your best bet is something likey where you use the Target card you get 5% off....or a place with a coupon that gives you $10/$100 purchase or something.

I really doubt you find any coupons specifically for an iPad mini.

Why would a company put out coupons for a newly-released product with a huge mark-up that they literally cannot keep on the shelves? Makes absolutely no sense.

That's why I worded the question as I did. No need for sarcasm, many people try to save wherever they can't hurt to ask a question.

Target has a gift card with purchase deal on right now for the ipads. The ipad mini isn't included at this point, but it might be in the future (say for Black Friday).

As Apple products are "boutique" type products, they never issue coupons, nor do they allow for retailers such as Target or Walmart to put their products "on sale", as that would "cheapen"their brand.

However, that doesn't disallow for Target/Walmart to include a gift card, or something like that...

Target will give you a $40 Target gift card with ANY IPad purchased. That being said the IPad Mini is not available. As a matter of fact it has been reported the IPad mini is out of stock at most stores right now. You should be able to order one from Apple. Not sure of the delivery date right now.

Apple doesn't let retailers discount their products. The one exception is if Apple themselves is running a discount. For instance, last Black Friday Apple essentially gave everyone Student pricing for most of their products. They allowed other stores to offer the same pricing. Outside of a situation like that, the only way a store can offer a "deal" on a new Apple product is usually to offer a free gift card with purchase. Assuming it is for your "kids" who are still enrolled in school, look for the Apple education link on their storefront, and check out what the education discount is. Unless you can find a % off deal for using a card or a general discount off $XX, you won't find much for new Apple hardware.

It's already pretty much been covered, but I imagine not only will there not be coupons but Apple will only have so much product and people will be clamoring to even find them.

My Target did have the Mini today I held the box in my hand to get an idea of the size...they said they hadn't sold one all day. I was told the $40 did not apply to the Mini.

If you have an AMEX card- American Express is having 20% off in their Membership Rewards points store, you can buy it through there, but you have to have at least 2 points and pay the difference in cash.

In previous years, Apple has a Black Friday sale online. It's only a few percent off, but it's enough to cover sales tax at least.

I just bought an Ipad 2 for my wife on Saturday at Target and they had 7 Ipad Mini's at the counter. There was a sign that said the Mini did not qualify for the $40.

Apple kind of "you know what" the pooch with the mini in my opinion. If they wanted to really try and take away market share from the smaller tablets, they needed to come in at a lower price.
