Hi,
Has anyone (Kelly Monaghan!) considered writing a sort of pocket sized readers digest version guidebook that we could take to the parks with us. When I was there in May. I kept saying- I wish I had Kelly's book with me! I didn't want to carry it around the parks though. Just a thought!

Hi,
I don't have a PDA but if I did, I wouldn't want to carry it around the parks, would I? They're not water-proof are they?
Guess you could put it in a baggie to keep it dry.

I was looking in the bookstore today and I saw many other Orlando travelguides that can fit into your pocket, but none of them are as good as Kelly's. :)

Just a thought, if you carry a backpack into the park you could throw the book into the backpack ~ you'd never know it was there & you would have it to refer to during the day. Of course, this is coming from someone who brings the kitchen sink if it fits in the backpack.

Hmmm. There's a "Mini-Mickey." Could the world be ready for a "Mini-Hulk?"

Another solution: bigger pockets.

BTW, the PDA downloadable product Barry mentions may still be available but it's way out of date. (I think it was the first edition, pre-IOA.)

I thought it was a great idea, but it didn't sell well. The fact that it was impossible to find didn't help.

Hi,
Normally, I would carry a backpack into the parks but this trip I said no way. Tired of being the pack horse of the family. I wore shorts with multiple (but not huge) pockets and a fanny pack around my waist- mostly for the camera. That's it. Well, I wore a top, too. ;-) I studied Kelly's book for months before we left. I should have had it memorized. I continued to refer to it back at the room. I think a 'mini-Hulk' is a great idea! Just how small is this Mini-Mickey. Would it fit in a fanny pack?

I don't think so. If memory serves, it's about as big as my Universal book. It's just that compared to the whole Unofficial Guide, it seems tiny.

If I remember right, Mini-Mickey is very thin, so you can put it into your back pocket, but not your fanny pack (unless your fanny pack is huge).

Here's a photo...
