We're traveling with Grandma the end of January and each have vouchers for 1game of mini golf. (Hoping to use Grandma's so we only have to pay for kids, but don't know about transferability.) What is the easier course for kids and what are the best ways to get there?

I would suggest going to Winter Summerland and playing the Winter course. It's themed towards Christmas. Santa and his elves are all over the course.

You can get there by taking any Disney motor coach to Bizzard Beach. Exit the motor coach and take the walking path past the front gates to the Winter Summerland course.
If someone in your party has an annual pass each paying player gets 50% off their round.

Thanks, but whats plan B as blizzard beach will be closed when we're there?
Do the blizzard buses still run?????

This is a big problem when Blizzard Beach is closed. Things may have changed by now but... we did this many years ago and while we had no trouble getting there, it was a VERY long time before we could get a bus back.

Buses do run but generally only1 going to parks or DTD. Not the resorts. So if you are taking a bus, you will need to find which ones are running at the time you will be needing and you may need to go to a park to get another bus to get back to your resort.

We like the Fantasia course but again tough to get to without a car. Take a bus to Swan or Dolphin and walk. The problem here is crossing the road to the course. There is no "crossing" and the cars zoom blindly around that corner. It always surprises me that Disney doesn't make it easier to walk to things like that.

Last time we played the Fantasia course a mother duck had recently had ducklings and she was keeping them on various areas of the course. The CMs did not disturb the ducks but we were told to expect them and play around the hole they were on. It really added to the cuteness factor of the course that day.

Best thing, consult a map and keep the number of a taxi service with you just in case.

Whatever course you play you will like, they are all really special in their own ways.

I also would recommend Winter Summerland - it would be a great course to play in the Winter, and is really fun and interactive. It is easy to get to by bus to Blizzard Beach. :)
