My last two trips to Orlando, I missed out on Mini Golf, when I was younger watching those NOW old americian eighty's films, the kids were playing Mini Golf, NOW this visit and at Thirty Seven, I'm gonna play MINI GOLF!!!!

So which ones the Best.

Well, if you're staying at WDW then the one at Crossroads is pretty good although I've only taken the kids there once. (That's my excuse to go, anyway!!!). Pirates Cove I think it's called.

This year we tried the one on 192 at the Magic Mining Company place. That was pretty good too, but very hot!!!!

We like them all in their different ways.

Congo River Golf on the US 192 is great, the course is set up as though an explorers plane has crashed and there are real aligators there which you can feed and stuff.

I would recommend it to anyone!!

We really wanted to get over to Fantasia Gardens to try our luck on Disney's mini golf courses but time didn't allow it.

We did however play Pirates Cove on I-Drive. This has two courses, a beginners and an advanced, we played the advanced but it was not too difficult.

I think it was about $8 per person although there are money off coupons in most tourist offices.

It is located next to the Mercado on I-Drive and has a car park at the back, alternativaly just park in the Mercado and walk.

Be warned it gets very busy in the evening, we played mid afternoon and had a pretty clear round. It was however baking hot and I use that excuse for losing to my wife by 2 strokes!!!!

My sister and I did the Fantasia Minigolf the last time and had lots of fun, actually we would have done a second round if we had the time.we went there on the day of our return flight before going to the airport.I highly recommend it.

Cos you've missed a few years I think you should play all of them!

Our faves are Pirates Cove and Disneys Wintersummerland.

We found it better to play at night when it's a lot cooler and finshes off the day nicely.

Another vote for Pirates Cove I-Drive - evening rounds for us though after a nice meal at Charley's Steakhouse.

We did WinterSummerland and Fantasia mini golf.
I would go for Fantasia, we did the hardest course ;) It was brilliant, had a great laugh. Will definetley be going back:)

Another vote for Disney's Fantasia Mini - golf. Found WinterSummerland good too :D

another vote for Pirate's Cove here....

when we went it rained, though we were near the end of our round we still got a coupon to come back for free :-)

Totally agree with Bonzo - We find playing at night much better, when the weather has cooled down a bit.

I like the Winter/Summerland Course, Fantasia is good too though. Also, I agree that Pirates Cove on I-Drive is good, the theming here is great - especially at night. Mini Golf is a great laugh and a really sociable activity - great!

Richard. :)

Pirates Cove and Fantasia are both great fun. Even more fun if her indoors:mad: if swinging her putter about. She always wins because I am laughing so much.

Why do women take it so serious?

Still roll on September for another couples of rounds of golf and laughs:jester:

Ummm.......in my experience men take it alot more serious than women. When they lose they claim its only a game. If they win (when the cheating works;) ) they say to calm down its only a game and to get over it. Women are bad at golf but men are bad at losing!!!:smooth: ;) :p

Muppet, I did not mean to cause offence. I have been happily married for nearly 30 years to her indoors:mad: and love her to bits. We go everywhere together. Now our 2 sons are self sufficient we go to Florida by ourselves and have a absolutely wonderful time. We enjoy our own company.
Please accept my apologies if I caused any offience to any ladies out there.

;) ;)

Anyway I only take it serious because as always I end up paying!!

:jester: :jester:

Fantasia is the best quality minigolf, but it's also the most expensive. I thought Pirates at Cross roads was pretty good and decent value for money.

We thought Congo River Golf on I-Drive was good, particularly the live Alligators in the water hazard (dont worry they're well fenced off).
Also Pirates Cove was good to wind away an hour or so after dinner.
BTW we believe that it's always a better experience after dark as the lighting leads to a better atmosphere.
My kids love miniature golf.:D :jester: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Grumpy John I was only playing about I'm sorry if I worded it badly. It cracks me up to see how competitive Nic gets when we play. He even chucks my ball in the water.

Sorry again, but women play better than men, we just Let you win;)

Muppet, poor Nic! I showed her indoors:mad: what I had posted and she threatened me with physical violence!! Kept waffling on about ''men are only good at one thing - taking us hardworking women to work and driving the car on our vacations to Florida''

 Really - it hurt me feelings - I thought she loved me!!!!
