Does anybody have any good advice on the best way to get in a round at one of the Disney mini golf courses?

Can you reserve a Tee time?

Is there a good time to go to avoid a long wait during peak seasons?

Are either mini golf courses easily accessed from one of the parks, or do you have to drive to them?

Thanks,

My family has a strange mini-golf rivalry which gets more and more intense with each trip, so this is a MUST for us! We have never tried to reserve a tee time, so I don't know if that's an option, but we've yet to experience a wait to play and our last two trips (June '09 and December '08) were during peak times.

As far as access from the resorts, we just hike it from BWV and it's not a very long walk. We have always driven to Winter Summerland because we're usually at the BoardWalk. Maybe there's a direct bus or something from AKL, CSR, or the All-Stars, but I don't believe it's directly accessible from AK.

There is nothing better than mini golf, as far as my family is conserned, and these courses look great.

I'm really suprised that they are not more popular, and that you can just walk on.

We are going to try and do this, last time we didn't get to go bc it wasn't in the plans for us, our family loves mini golf.

Same here...big mini-golf rivalry here! LOL

I'd recommend going earlier in the day - it's been emptier for us than say in the evening.

We've played at both places, but we drove, so not sure on transportation

Yrdly-- Yardley? I grew up in Bucks

My DS loves mini golf. It's his favorite thing to do in Disney. We've played both sides of Winterland/Summerland. It's never been crowded when we go. Once the side we weren't playing had a small build up of people. What they did was give people a tee time. I think it was like 15 minutes from the time the people paid.

Fantasia Gardens is an easy 10-min. walk from BW, BC, YC, and even quicker from Swan/Dolphin. We usually go in the mid-evenings, say around 8 PM or so, so we're late-nighters (comparatively speaking). But we've never had to wait more than 10 mins. or so to play, and that includes during our last trip in April - we were there over Spring Break. Winter/Summerland is lots of fun also, but we went on an extremely warm day and spent a fortune on beverages. But - we didn't wait - walked right on at about 3 in the afternoon and it was about 90 deg. Whew!

We go to Winter/Summerland every trip. We do drive, but if you took a bus to Blizzard beach it would be an easy walk, it is attached via a sidewalk to BB.

You can not reserve mini golf times. Your best bet is during the afternoons .Evenings are prime playing times. We went last Sept in the evening and still had a 35 min wait to start. With Pleasure Island gone, alot more people play mini golf in the evening

You can not reserve mini golf times.

This is incorrect. We went to Fantasia Gardens in January and upon arrival were asked if we had a tee time. We obviously did not, and ended up waiting about 20 minutes or so. This was around 10:00 in the morning.

Good to know...is there a phone number that I can call to make these ressies--uggh now I have to make ressies for my mini-golf tee time:lmao:

Both are easy to get ot by the methods others have mentioned. I think getting to Winter/Summerland is the easiest (right there by the entracne to Blizzard Beach)--so long as you are going during times when Blizzard Beach is open (ie, not in teh evening after the waterpark shuts down). Winter/Summerland is also a much easier course to play so it may be better for jsut little ones dinking around. In the past (we have not made our 2009 trip yet so maybe this has changed:confused3) you paid full price for your first round of the day. After that, if you keep your receipt you can play round on any of the courses for half price all day long. We love mini golf and often had a golf day mid trip and play both courses at both places (with a nice long swim break and lunch in between).

We were told at Fantasia we could not reserve. This was last Sept.
