Which mini golf course is your favorite? And if kids want to play but not adults, do we have to pay to walk along with them?

I'd think winter summerland is better for kids. Since you pay for the ball/club, you should be able to walk along without paying. I don't remember a gate or anything that would stop you, but it has been a few years so I could be wrong.

We prefer Winter Summerland but have also had a great time at Fantasia
Gardens- just be sure to play the Fantasia side if you want more theming. The Fairway side is more like a small scale regular golf course. One year just the kids played and we walked through - no charge.

Definitely prefer Winter Summerland. Two courses, great theming, and Christmas music. Note that over the years, the price has been jacked up, now it is almost $15 for a round. It used to be 50% off to play a second round, now it is 25% off. I think you should be able to walk through while the kids play, but would not be surprised if they wanted you to pay...

We have only played Winter Summerland. The kids both played and my wife and I just walked along and there was no issue with them wanting us to pay. My three year old (well, he was at the time) actually made 2 holes in one :yay:

Winter Summerland has all around better theming, but Fantasia Gardens is a lot easier to get to. Dinner in the WS or EC resort area, a round at Fantasia Gardens and then dessert and people watching on the Boardwalk makes for a very nice evening.

We've only done Winter Summerland but really enjoyed it both times we were there! We would hit it first thing in the morning on a later park day and there was no line, no waiting. If you have an on-site package, be sure to check for the vouchers!

Actually Winter Summerland is easy to get to in the afternoon - it's adjacent to the Blizzard Beach parking lot, so just take a Blizzard beach bus from any resort. Fantasia sometimes has long lines - on a trip in March, there was an 80-minute wait for the Gardens course so we skipped it; went to WS next day at about the same time and the wait was 12 minutes.

We have only played the Winter Summerland course and had a blast. We saw other groups on the course and there were people walking with them that we're not playing so I wouldn't think it will be a problem to just walk around while your kids play.......Have fun!!!:woohoo::-)

Have played both. I'd say Winter Summerland is a great course for kids, but Fantasia may be better if your kids are teens. Not sure if they are still doing it, but you used to be able to play one course at full price, then head to the other one for a 50% discount.

We used to make use of that 50% discount, but on our trip in April we were told it was now a 25% discount.

Anyone know if you can walk from CSR to Winter Summerland or best to take the Blizzard Beach bus? Thanks for all the great feedback!
