Mini DV on rides

Hey there, does anyone use there video cameras on the rides. My fiance and I love thrill rides and I was wondering if anyone ever uses there video camera actually on the coasters and such to catch the reactions. Has anyone lost there camera this way? I have a wrist strap for my mini dv camera but I wanted to see what you have to say..thanx...

I have videotaped nearly every ride in WDW and never had any problems (didn't do Soarin).
