Okay, I LOVE these things. I cannot afford to go to Golden Corral all the time to get these mini pies! Anybody have any idea how to make them? They are not like a regular chocolate pie. Seems a little fudgey or something. Man, they are good though. PLEASE help a pregnant lady out LOL!!

My SIL makes mini-fudgy-chocolaty pies with Phillo dough and chocolate pudding (not the instant kind).

I don't know if they are like GC's, but everyone loves them.

Have you called to ask if they'll sell them to you? Won't hurt to try!

That is a good idea, I will call to ask. I would still love to know HOW to make these at home!

I have made this pie -it is fudgy -but I have no idea if it is like GCs

CHOCOLATE CHESS PIE
1/2 stick butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. flour
2 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix and pour into shell. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 375 degrees.

GC sells the buffet to go by the pound... surely you could probably go (cheaper at lunch, I think) get a few that way.
