Mine Train soft openings

I'm wondering the same thing. We are going the last week in May. Since I have read some people say changing fastpass + selections have been a pain. I wonder if we should leave a slot open for the Mine Train or should we add another ride in the slot and try to change it to the Mine Train if it opens

Since the most recent update to the website, changing FastPass selections for a new experience is very easy.

I've not been at Disney during a media event for a new attraction. Can I expect the Magic Kingdom to be extra busy that day--especially in Fantasyland? April 30th is our last full day and we expect to be in MK for the majority of it.

I was at DisneyLands California Adventure for Cars land media day and opening. It was NUTS!!! I would avoid it at all costs. But...it was cool seeing all the stars

Going April 6 to 11th. Hope we get to ride. I saw they took down most the construction walls. From what others have said the rides usually open a week or two after all walls come down.
