We are in MK and they are doing soft openings!!!! Queue massive so we will wait.

Very wise to wait it out. Someone posted a little while ago that the wait time posted was 180 minutes

I doubt it we've only had 5 hours sleep since 7am yesterday!!!!!!! The mine train line is madness. DD was just Mrs Potts at the Belle attraction.

Figured we'd miss the soft opening lol. We've just got home.

Every time we were in the MK we wandered past the Mine Train and there was always a mass of people lurking. They were letting CMs ride in their normal clothes so people kept assuming it was the general public. It was complete mayhem ha ha.

Obviously we never got on the ride but we did see various people trying to bargain with CMs and you could over hear many guests saying their day was now ruined.

Hope you do get to ride and if you do let us know how it was.

If the crowds are at the Mine Train hopefully there are shorter queues at other attractions. I'm sure it will be open other days and then there's always next year! My DD was also picked for Mrs Potts last year - we got some nice Photopass pictures. Where are you heading for dinner tonight?
