My husband and I were on our honeymoon this past week in WDW, and in conversation with a CM at Pooh, employee training for the Mine Train will be all this week, and it should start running within the next week or next. Hate we missed it, but wanted to share the good news with those going soon!
And for anyone wondering, we recieved a great deal of honeymoon "pixie dust" by simply wearing the buttons! Free parking in HWS, and free dessert at about half of our meals, including Pecos Bill's, Tony's, and Coral Reef! We arrived to Fantasmic too late and were put in the "standing room only" section, and as we gave up and were on our way out, a CM offered us prime seats in what looked like either the fastpass or dinner package section!
