Mindy doll clothes

OK, maybe this is a little off-topic, except that she did come with a limited edition collectible pin !

Anyway, my daughter got the Mindy doll for Christmas from her grandmother. I encouraged her to get the doll because both the doll was so much more reasonably priced than the American Girl dolls and Sarah is only 3 (almost!) She got two additional outfits for Christmas but now I want to get more clothes for this doll and it seems almost impossible! The Disney Store web site only has one (1!) outfit right now and our store never seems to have any of the clothes. They did get some in right before Christmas but those sold out a long time ago.

The recent catalog had some outfits in it, but not the ones I've seen in past catalogs. So, my question is, are the clothes limited editions? Does anyone know? I really hate it when childrens' toys become limited edition collectibles so I hope that's not the case. Or maybe we collectors are missing out on another collectible! How can I get some clothes for poor Mindy before my daughter's birthday in 3 weeks?

Anyway,

Mindy's clothes are not "limited" so to speak, but they are constantly coming out with new outfits and not necessarily keeping the old. THey seem to have 3 - 6 "current" ones available. The sad news: they are taking a while to get into some of the stores.

I just visited our gallery store last week, and they had a whole wall bay of Mindy clothes -- approx. 3 styles. I'm not sure you want to call around and have the stores ship you stuff...I can get you their number if you want to try them.

So, you should see more coming out. Especially now that PENNY has come out (have you seen her in her little Mickey Mouse ears???? TOOO Cute!), they'll be bringing out more stuff.

Just keep looking!

Don't forget that Mindy is a standard 18" doll size -- so you should be able to find clothes for her at "other retail establishments" (just not sure they will be the reasonable 9.99 )

They have some really cute new outfits. I think they've realized that the little princess costumes were a hit. The stores here have had several different ones. I found a Cinderella costume before xmas when they were 25% off. After xmas I've found tinkerbelle and some of the other new ones in the store but so far have resisted the temptation.

My girls don't have the Mindy doll but use them on their american girls.

Thanks to everyone who's replied and/or sent me a PM. I have a couple of leads now on where I can get some Mindy clothes. I think that part of the difficulty I'm having is that these outfits are cheaper than American Girl clothes and they also have Disney characters, so a lot of American Girl dolls are probably wearing them .

Kim, that seems to be who is buying them at our Disney Store--- the mom's of owners of AG dolls---we can't keep them !!!. I got the Snow White, Cinderella, the dress and jacket with Eeyore, and the Pooh pajamas for my daughters doll. I am so hoping that the little Tinkerbelle costume comes back in, as well as the pink bathrobe. They are my favorites. I am trying to get one or 2 a week and saving them for DD's birthday. We got her the WDW doll that has the same hair and eye color as DD, while we were in WDW 2 weeks ago, and that and the clothes will be her 8th birthday present. I have to agree, they are SO much more affordible than AG!

A friend of mine just discovered an online store that has cheaper clothes that fit AG and since your doll is 18" they will fit her too. I am waiting for my order but my friend said that the quality was really nice which is rare for non-AG clothes. For soem reason I can't post the link but here is the site: dollsclothes-emilyrose
