What if you don't reach your min room nights? All my guests will be staying in villas apart from us? Anybody know how many nights it would be for 16 people?

Sam

Not sure on what your minimum will be but if you don't meet it I believe you have to make up the $ difference.

I believe the lowest minimum that FTW give out is 25 room nights. But I'm not positive. If you don't reach your minimum, you have to pay for the room nights you dont have booked at the lowest rate in your room block. So say you need 25 room nights and you blocked rooms at the GF, CBR and POP. You only have 20 booked, FTW will charge you for 5 nights at the rate they gave you for POP. I dont know of anyone who hasn't met their minimum though.

Hi Sam

As a fellow UK bride, I can tell you that it is 25 nights for anything up to 40 guests. 41-75 guests requires 50 nights and over 75 guests requires 75 nights. I don't know what happens if you don't meet it - I guess you would have to pay out for the amount of rooms you're missing.

If you're interested I can email you some information that they sent me about the basics? It's an Adobe Acrobat file - I don't know if you have that (?), but let me know if you do.

What date are you planning for? We're looking at the Wedding Pavilion/Grand Floridian on May 2nd 2006 so are at the frustrating stage of not even being able to book it! How are your plans going?

Are you a member of the disneymooner's website? If you have a hard time with the room block and your wedding is approaching, you can join (for free), if you are a disney bride-to-be. On that board there are always people posting their wedding party names and others on the board will call group reservations and reserve under the wedding's room block. It works out for those with room blocks to fill and in return those that book in the room block get the reduced room rate! There are always couples looking for a good room rate when they travel for site visits and wedding planning - and it is nice to know that you are giving away the good room rate to a fellow disney bride or groom!

Also, keep in mind that if you are staying on Disney property during your wedding/honeymoon your room nights count too (even if you've already made separate arrangements!) Just forward your reservation numbers to your EM and they will apply the nights towards your minimum. So if you are staying for two weeks (even if the dates fall beyond your technical room block days) those days will count!
