Mimosa's anywhere?

I remember reading that they don't serve alcohol before noon in FL, or at least in Orlando? So does that mean nowhere serves mimosa's or bloody mary's at breakfast? I don't normally have these, but thought maybe while on vacation it would be nice!

don't know where you heard they don't serve alcohol before noon in Florida...we were eating breakfast in Florida on DD's 21st birthday in Jan. 2010 - around 10 a.m. When the waiter found out it was her birthday, he said we should stay until 11 a.m. when the bar opened so she could have her first drink there.

Anyway, I know mimosas were on the menu at the Kona Cafe for breakfast last year and I think they're on the menu at the Grand Floridian Cafe too.

Also, we've been in Disney restaurants before noon and had both wine & beer suggestions made by our waiters (just a couple of weeks ago at SciFi around 11:15 a.m. the waitress was pointing out the specialty adult beverages on the menu.)

LOL, you read correctly and it depends on the city you are trying to get alcohol in. We can't get it here in Davie, before noon, but we can drive two minutes down the road and get it, lol.

Stupid laws, adults don't need them for sure.

I didnt hear that one about Orlando. I have ordered bloody marys with breakfast at least twice (that's also about how many times I've had breakfast at WDW in the past few years)

The Food & Wine Festival has wine seminars and an event called Sweet Sunday where they serve prosecco, all before noon. And when the World Showcase opens at 11 AM, so do many of the purveyors of booze.

Kona Cafe has great Bloody Mary's to eat with your breakfast.

Grand Floridian Cafe has wonderful mimosas (with strawberries) for breakfast as well!
