Mimi's for a Thanksgiving meal.....

I booked our Turkey day lunner *3pm ~ Turkey day will start early for us, we'll use our MM *7am* I figure that time will be late enough for us to have a nice meal after our mid day break *nap*

I'm wondering if any of you have dined at the Harbor *or any* Mimi's on Thanksgiving ~ if so how was it?

Our character meal days and set price meals *adults one price and kids another* are fewer now that DS is 10.

Never eaten at one on Thanksgiving, but I did call once to inquire about purchasing full Thanksgiving meals to go. I would think they'd have a special meal that day.

We ate there two years in a row for Thanksgiving and we really liked it, and the price couldn't be beat. They give you huge portions of all the traditional food. Dh wants to go back again this year.

The only thing I didn't like was that they wouldn't let us make reservations, so we had to wait over an hour to be seated. They may have changed that by now. It's been a few years.

We ate at Mimi's 2 years ago for turkey day, but not at DL, last year at DL we ate at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in DTD.
We really enjoyed our Mimi's Tgiving dinner, it was really really good and very plentiful. It's a traditional meal of turkey, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, veggies, sweet potatoes, bread and you get dessert as well, they do not have their normal menu that day, just the holiday meal. We were able to make reservations with no problems. This year we are going to DBF's parents but if we weren't we would make ressies at Mimi's again. It really was good and we had leftovers for 2 days! lol

Ralph Brennan's was also very very good!! And there you could make choices from the menu, not the regular menu (altho that was available for kids iirc) but the holiday menu, they just had more options available. It was soooooooo good, we would 100% go back if we could go to DL this year for Tgiving.

I've not eaten AT Mimi's on Thanksgiving, but I've gotten their Thanksgiving meal to go the past 2 years. It's soooo much better than anything I could ever make and there's so much food! Thanks guys, now I'm going to be dreaming of the brown sugar sweet potatoes......mmmmmm!

We have a Mimi's near us and we go there every few weeks. Their food is consistenly good. I would definitely go there for Thanksgiving dinner!

It is Shelly, they also have wine available. I had a nice glass of white zin with my turkey dinner, it was super good!
