Miltary discount for food?

I read that Goofy's Kitchen offers a 10% discount to military with a valid ID. Anyone know of any other Disneyland table service or counter service that might do this? I'm thinking that the offer may be exclusive to the restaurants at the hotels, but figured I'd ask anyway.

Not that I'm aware of, but I'd never heard that Goofy's offered one either. Where did you read that? If true, then I'd guess that at least the other character meals might offer a similar discount, but as I mentioned I hadn't read that.

Never heard this either. I just checked the military discounts on the Disneyland site and nothing there.

Perhaps the recreation office sells Disneyland character meal vouchers.

I'm not sure. I saw it on a couple of blogs written by mil spouses. I did see that there's a AAA discount of 10% and sometimes at hotels mil/aaa/aarp are lumped together, so maybe it's not advertised (or not offered any longer). No biggie. Just curious. Thanks for the input!

Usually the park tickets and hotel rates have been the only thing I have seen military discounts on.


I have seen nothing official about military discounts at dining locations. I wonder if you are correct in that maybe some servers may have applied a AAA discount for showing a military ID.
