Hi everyone--

Finalizing last minute plans (how cool it is to say that!) Have you done this show--Millionare (sp?) Fun? Not fun? Hard to get into? I thought it might be fun for dh. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I thought this was a lot of fun. I had been to the "real Millionaire" show taping in NYC in 2000 with my husband and the Disney version isn't that much different. My two daughters loved it because they got a chance to do the ask the audience poll. There was no line when we were there and we got right in. It lasted about a half an hour. Try it!

If you like watching the television show, you should love this. I really enjoy it and have made it into the Hot Seat 4 times (though I have yet to go all the way ) It's lots of fun!

I love the show, have been in the hot seat twice (did horrifically last time ) it's not too hard to get into....if you get fast passes and are some of the first people to go into wait and are a small group (like a twosome) you might be able to get to sit in the fastest finger row...don't know if you can ask though, the couple of times I did it the CM's asked me...if you pm me I'll tell you my secret for getting in the hot seat

It's great - but one word of caution: This attraction can be highly addictive.

Ditto with the highly addictive! DH and I went last year to a "show" early in the day - did ok but didn't make it to the hot seat. DH insisted on going again! Went later in the day, DH made it into the hot seat (argh - I would have had I gotten the ques right as I was leading till then). I haven't heard the end of it since then (of course, I keep reminding him he's Irish and missed the president of Ireland).

This year - DH already has MGM lined up as the FIRST park to do - and I wouldn't be suprised if the order of rides went RnRC, TOT, Millionaire!



Can't wait!

Love this show--I made it into the hot seat once in 2001 and once in 2002--not past 32000 though--I do much better at home! Try it, you or DH will LOVE it if either is a trivia nut.

How is the "hot seat" contestant chosen?

well, the first contesant is the winner of the fastest finger question...after that the audience plays along with their score a combination of the right answers and the fastest time....so the next person in the host seat after the original person is the guy with the highest score i.e got the most questions right and entered the answers the fastest

But last year DH and I got a Fast Pass for Millionaire and sat at the begining of the Fast Pass queue actually just to catch some air conditioning from the open doors. A CM came out and asked us if we wanted to sit on the stage in one of the 10 fastest finger seats. We got to sit onstage without an audience for a little while and the CM's were taking pics of the others in the fastest finger seats. Kind of cool to get into the auditorium earlier than the audience.
