This is our last full day.

I was the desgnated fast pass runner (I have serious fast passng acquistion skills). I enjoyed doing for them, but frankly after two full days of running, I was ready for a break,

This morning as we entered for magic morning, I told the boys that the only thing I wanted was to meet them at toontown for pics with Mickey at 9AM.

Weget at Mickeys House and at the end ofthe line was the million dreams folks. We got lanyards with fastpasses for all the rides. It was such a greatthing to get. It really and truly was the best Christmas present I could have gotten.

We had great weather Saturday and Sunday. The rain was just heavy enough on Mondayto keep the locals from stampeeding. The crowds this morning were not really bad, but as we went back to the room, we all were taken aback by the ticket plaza - it looked like a busy Summer day. :scared1: :scared1:

We are heading back o the parks soon to start using our dreams fastpasses/

We leave for home (SF Bay Area) tommorrow-apparently there are two storms setto collide.....so wish us a safe trip (hopefully up I-5);)

ahhh..that was a Merry Christmas present to get! I'm happy you were Dreamed at Disneyland:santa:

Safe Travel Home and Have a Joyful New Year:goodvibes

I was also in the parks on Saturday and Sunday, and for a little while yesterday! I didn't notice a decrease in crowds, though, during the rain. I saw way more people than I expected to see on such a rainy day! (And I am, more or less, a local!) All in all, though, the weekend crowds were pretty much what I expected for December based on previous December trips - no worse and maybe even a little bit better! I was glad the rain waited until my last day in the parks to hit, because it was a mess for me and everything I had got wet - even inside my bag! I hated it!

Also, I went to DLR on two weekend trips last year and two weekend trips this year, and never got dreamed at all. Finally, on my last day - yesterday - I was walking under the Castle archway, and the Dream Squad was backed up against the wall by a mob of people, and they were handing out the Dream Fast Passes. So I FINALLY got a Dream! It wasn't the $500 shopping spree I wanted but it was still something, and it was my LAST chance to get a Dream, and I did!:goodvibes

Congrats on the Dream FP - both of you!
We have won them twice, once each year, but no other prizes....unlike Miss Emmers Mommy who was quite fortunate;) I have read your story like three times and love re-living it each time!

That's great, we got them on our last day of our AP's that expired in July so that was a lot of fun for us. :) Have a safe drive home, we are headed down there in 11 days.....woo hoo!!!!! :)

My husband and son also got the DFPs at Mickey's House this morning. I would have gotten one too, except I used the first exit to go get in line at PFF while the boys continued to play. I know that I could have gone to City Hall to get one of my own, however, since DS is only 15 months, he happily "gave" his DFP to mommy!

And, we ended up only using the HHM FPs today. And, we have lots of leftovers from previous DFP wins, so I think that either tomorrow or Christmas morning we will end up gifting what we have to some other people since they are about to expire for good.

We missed the Dream Team by one ride vehicle yesterday. We got off Pinnochio and there they were at the exit. I looked at them and said "Hi guys!" and they didn't really say anything as we passed them. The folks behind us, they got Dream Pin lanyards, as did a dozen or more folks after them.

I thought, "dang" as we were putting my daughter in the stroller, until I heard "Are you DISers?"

I have to tell you that this was so much better than the Dream Squad!!!

I immediate perked up and it was CindyBGood (as I found out next)! I was so excited! My first LGMH random hit! You can only troll for fellow DISers unsuccesfully for so long...... When I told her my screen name, she got really excited and said "I read you all the time!!!!" I felt like such a celebrity for a few seconds! :cloud9:

Thanks Cindy!!!!!!!!!

Not creepy unless you were doing weird things with us!!! :lmao:

Plan a trip down, let us know and we'll come meet you. We're extremely normal people that happen to like the parks!

We're here at the GCH, on our last morning, and up early to check on our flight (the Seattle area is still snowed in and flights are cancelled, but ours is on--whew!)

I watched for lime green mickey heads, and I've seen none! :sad2:

I'm sad to be going home, but ready at the same time. We've been here for seven days, and our kids are missing their pups.

It's been a trip of firsts: first time at Napa Rose, first time seeing celebs in the park (Courtney Cox, David Arquette, and Guy Fieri) first time in Animator's Studio (how have we missed the Animation Academy??). Also the first time we've let our kids got out on rides alone, with strict instructions and a meeting place. Ah, the glory of cell phones!

We're headed to Storytellers for breakfast, and then to the airport. Cross fingers for a safe flight!

OMG - I bet you guys were in Storytellers at the same time we were and didn't even know it!!!!

So close!

I hope you had as great a vacation as we did!

We ended up winning a second batch of DFPs at Turtle Talk on Wed. and could have won a third set at POTC yesterday but chose not to take them as we had given away the sets we had won the two previous days!
