About three weeks ago, I noticed that construction had started in the former parking lot, and given the area involved, the result will be much more than an addition to the existing building.

just checking that you are talking about Millie's in front of the Fairfield Inn and not Mimi's Café at the corner. there is major construction going on there in the connecting parking lot for a new 6 story hotel. a Marriott Courtyard.
