Millers Ale House vs Town Tavern

anyone? we are staying at Wyndham Cypress Palms and have children 8 and 10.

Haven't yet been to Millers (on 192) but plan to go next trip. However, from passing by it, it looks very busy, and directly on the highway. Wouldn't be much for kids to do while waiting for a table. Town Tavern is right across the street from the lake in Celebration and on the main street, so it would be possible to take a little walk out front if needed. Also Town Tavern has outside dining which we enjoy. Don't know about Millers. Either way, enjoy the time with your family! Grammy

I vote for Town Tavern for reasons listed above and I have seen lots of families there. Menu includes some real family stuff like meatloaf, Mac and Cheese, and the best onion rings around.

I agree with the PPs on the Celebration Town Tavern. It's a really nice slice of New England brought to Celebration in the form of a transplanted Boston tavern/restaurant - partly sports bar, partly family restaurant. With a huge menu selection, we've never had a bad meal in 10 or 12 visits.

Town Tavern has better service and better food, I'd probably give it the edge for being a bit more kid-friendly.

Hands down, Miller Ale House. This is our favorite anytime we are in FL. Super good good and good atmosphere. Favorites: Spinach artichoke dip, chicken nachos, quesadillas---you name it, everything is good.
