Millenium CD

I just found the Epcot Millenium CD in a used CD rack near home. I was so excited. I only had to pay $5.00 for it. All I wonder is........why did they change the whole Tapestry of Nations theing to Tapestry of Dreams after the year 2000? Tapestry of Nations is pretty much the same thing as Tapestry of Dreams but so much BETTER! Plus, the Millenium CD has the "Celebrate the Future hand in hand" song whereas the tapestry of dreams CD does not. What were they thinking?

I totally agree. However the Tapestry of Nations theme tied in to the Millennium theme, and once that promotion ended in October 2001 they needed to update it (at least that was Disney's way of thinking, they should have left it the way it was, I agree!).

What a great CD!

We play the Millenium CD at the beginning of every vacation. Just hearing it gets me ready to relax and have fun.

We have our own version "Celebrate the Future hand in hand" that we sing. Its a salute to Micheal Eisner entitled "Celebrate the Future CASH in hand".

$5.00? what a deal!! I bought mine at $17.00 when it was new!

We bought that CD on our 2000 trip and I absolutely love listening to it. I know it so well that I know the cue during Illuminations as when I need to snap the picture. We have a digital camera and there is a slight delay so I snap 1 second before the particular firework opens up. Last trip, we got pictures developed and low and behold we got the Mickey shot that I heard about but never saw. That was very cool.

Yeah I know Illuminations and the music by heart too! On my last trip I saw Illuminations 3 times ! One time, there was a mistake and I caught it, the fireworks and the music were out of sync, the fireworks didnt start on time, a few seconds too late. I dont think many people noticed but me! Trust me, it was a real faux paux! I am sure the pyrotechnics crew were cursing up a storm!
