Milkshakes: Do you like them?

Many years ago I dated a girl that worked at a small walk-up ice cream stand in River Grove Il, and every night after school I would go by and help her close. She made the meanest chocolate shake it has ever been my pleasure to taste.

chocolate soy milkshakes....yep they're the best stuff



but occasionally I have a real milkshake...expecially at dairy queen, I love theirs

I love Wendy's Frostys! There's a rare milkshake I didn't

Does anyone like black and white milkshakes? Is that just a local thing? It's made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. That's my favorite.

Good post. Chocolate is my favorite. I love the ones made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. That's how we make ours at home. In fact right now I'm sipping on a boston cooler my hubby just made. (yum!!) For those who don't know what a boston cooler is, it's vanilla icecream mixed with Vernor's pop. I heard some states don't carry Vernors.

YUP!!! I always called them that too. Then I was in SC and I ordered a black and white..I thought everyone called them that, but I got a half vanilla half chocolate milkshake. Not as good at all!

Although Mocha is my favorite...Black and Whites are my second fav.

I love the Steak 'n Shake ones, with hot fudge down the sides of the glass, yum!!

The restaurant where I work makes great ones too, with hand-dipped ice cream. We sell a lot of them.

My dad and I are milkshake snobs! We only like the black and whites. He makes them from scratch, and it wasn't until I went somewhere as a teenager and ordered a chocolate shake that I knew everyone else made them with chocolate ice cream!
