Strange question but which USA milk is closest to our own semi skimmed?

I believe its the 2% milk. It seems very similar when I drink it. Have a look at Velda Farms web site as that milk is often the one you find in Orlando and if you look at the fat content etc its very similar to our semi skimmed milk.

We buy 2% as well and I can't taste any difference when I put it on my cereal

Agreed!! glad I saw this question, we wondered the same thing last hols (can't remember what we ended up buying!) - now I know for this year

Yes, semi-skimmed is 2% milk. If you look on the UK packaging it will tell you that.

Skimmed is <0.1% and Whole milk is 4%

Not a silly question at all! The milk and washing powder throw me!! I have no idea what is good or not and prob will end up with all kinds of strange stuff this time as we are on our own!! Lol x at least no I can get the right milk! X
