We have a frig in our room and wondered if anyone knows if you can purchase a gallon of milk at the all star music resort. Also, is it worth getting the refillable cups if you are on the dining plan? I was thinking about getting 2, maybe 3, I am a family of 5.

Also, I noticed that Pizza Planet does not have a kids menu, can I assume that my kids can pick from the adult menu? Are there any other cs that only offer an adult menu for kids to pick from?

Milk is available at the All-Star Resort store. I believe you can get a quart of milk for 1 snack credit.

I personally don't see the value in getting refillable mugs with the Dining Plan. It includes so much food and drink, especially with being able to use a snack credit to put a 2 liter bottle of Coke in your refrigerator, that you could spend your money better than getting refillable mugs. However, different folks have different perspectives on that.

Regarding your Pizza Planet question:
At Pizza Planet, there is only one menu which everyone orders from (kids included) and yes it is part of the dining plan.

Are you coffee drinkers (or hot cocoa?)? For us- we always get the mugs b/c neither of us can live w/o two cups of coffee in the morning. We do not buy them for our 3 children as they are just too young. Every morning DH or I would go down to the Food Court first thing & get our coffee refill to bring back to the room. We'd finish that while getting dressed and then refill while the whole family was waiting for the bus. We ate breakfast in the room (bagels, raisin bread, PB&J) most mornings- with three kids we just couldn't do breakfast and have time to spend the "right" amount of time in the parks.

You can buy milk in the souvenier shop (you can also buy beer there and it is much cheaper than the bar).

I don't know about Pizza Planet- never been there.:confused3

Hard to make the refillable mug call for someone else - it depends on your personal habits. It does boil down to what you'd be spending on drinks OOP at your resort during your stay and whether that total is more or less than the cost of the mug. For example, if the mug was $15 and drinks $2, you'd get the mug if you expected to be buying 8 or more drinks anyway.

For us, it's often worth it. I do drink a lot of liquid and tend to stop off at the drinks machine on my way in and out of the resort. I'll also use the mug at meals and get a water bottle with my DDP meal, then take the water to the parks with me. Of course, it's much more of a no-brainer on long trips - 2 drinks a day for 10 days instead of maybe 1-2 drinks a day for 2 days........
