Milk Dud stuck on carpet

The title is sort of self explanatory. Last night I found a milk dud smushed into the carpet. I tried to pull off as much as I could but there is still tons stuck to the carpet. Does anyone have ideas as to how I can get it off?

How about trying to freeze it with an ice cube and then chipping it out? I recall this was advice for gum stuck in a carpet.

First of all you broke rule number one, NEVER BUY MILK DUDS!!!!! Unless there are some really nasty kids in your neighborhood. Then you give them out on Halloween.

I like the freezing idea.

I'd try either hot water or ice (melt it or freeze it). As for the stain, SPOT SHOT has taken up any stain I've ever used it on (including nail polish)

GOO GONE use as little as possible but it should break down the sticky an it should come right off. I've used it on caroet an everything else for years I did notice the new bottle I just gor did have a warning about carpet tho.

I found one mysteriously stuck to the back seat of my car last week (still have NO idea how it got there ). Was able to use plain water and paper towel and it came right off. The trick is to get it nice and wet. Good luck!
