military vs. so. cal resident tickets

We are going to DLR after Thanksgiving and I'm trying to talk my dad into joining us for a day. He is moving to Oceanside next month .... What would be his best deal for a one day PH, military or is their a one day So. Cal pass?

Unfortunately 1-day parkhoppers are rarely discounted. There is currently no SoCal discount, and if you buy a 1-day on base, you might save a dollar at best - not worth the hassle of going on base in my opinion! What your dad might want to do is buy a 3-day military parkhopper through their special promotion. The 3-day hopper is only $99 for military members and their families - $6 cheaper than a one-day hopper! And from what I understand, the 3-day Military tickets are good until Sept. 30, 2012. So, you'd have almost a year to use the days.
