My Nana and Papa live in FL and are joining us for 1 day at one of the parks, does anyone know what would be cheaper, a FL Resident ticket or a Retired Military? Also what kind of proof will they both need. They aren't married (currently divorced, but thats another story for another day!) so I'm not sure if that will matter!

TIA!

i don't know the price difference of the two. But state id is fine for residency tickets. I think that military can be bought for friends and family, so i don't think you have to prove relationship.

A better option is the play 4 or play 3, both are about 125$, but play 4 has to be purchased sometime by like may. Both tickets have a 6 month window, unlike MYW 14 day window.

There's usually not much of a discount on 1 day passes.

military is 99 for 4 day basic and 25$ extra for hopper and 25$ extra for water parks and more. you can get up to 5 tickets and need 1 military id to do it (retired, active, or spouse)

For one day at one park the best deal is for a Florida Resident to purchase the tickets in advance either online or by phone. This will give a discounted price of $71.50 (plus tax) and the tickets can be picked up at any ticket window or Guest Services location. And if hopping is wanted it only adds $26 to the ticket price. Note that Florida Resident ID is required for each Guest age 18 or above at the time the tickets are picked up.

And it is best to bring a printed copy of the purchase acknowledgement with the bar code on it to speed up the transaction at the ticket window.
