Military Tickets?

I've got a reservation at GF in May using the military discount. I was told that it is better to get the tickets through my base or SOG. But they wouldn't be able to load them into my card/magicband when we go. Would I be able to just get regular Magic Your Way tickets for the 8 day trip for the convenience of having not to carry a paper ticket around the whole time?

The military salute tickets are 4 day tickets. I don't think you can use them back to back to total 8 days. You can buy the regular military discounted tickets though from your base office or SOG. You cannot add tickets onto your military discounted room reservation though, I tried that and was told no. I purchased tickets from Undercover Tourist and brought them along. I had them linked to the KTTW when we checked in, it was easy. You cannot do that with the military salute tix though.

yes you can do that, up to the max allowed of 6 tickets per SM.

the savings far exceeds any inconvenience WRT how the tickets are issued/stored. I am looking at nearly $1000 difference with the StH tickets vice even the regular military discount or a MYW package.

we have gotten to use the salute tickets when going with my grandparents. while it has always been a pain...have to wait in a long line to get them activated....carry an extra card around...etc. the savings is substantial and anytime we can get them we do.
