Military tickets ?, used before 10/1/11

I went to WDW in June with my friend and kids (she is active military) and we bought the 4 day passes but we used only 3 days. Would the 4th day still be usable because they lengthened the promotion through 2012, or did that 4th day expire on 10/1/11?

To my understanding that the new promotion isn't the same as the one that recently ended. So tickets purchased before 10/1 cannot be used past 10/1.

Sorry but your understanding is totally incorrect.

The 2010/2011 promotion has been extended through September 30, 2012. Any tickets which had an original expiration date of October 1, 2011 are now valid through September 30, 2012 even if the October date is printed on the ticket. (Or, of course, until the last entitlement is used.)

Once again, you and the ticketing agent at SOG (who sells military tickets ALSO) have varying information. You can say that your information is correct, but I know a majority of people buy their military tickets at their ITT or at SOG, and they have told me MANY times that our tickets purchased in April of this year are no longer valid after yesterday. So you guys might want to get on the same page.

I work in ticketing and Guest Relations at one of the Disney Parks. I don't care what rules the military people say are in effect, but what I go by and what I state are the Disney Rules and Policies. And the Disney rules are what allow you into the Parks.

And please read the disclaimer which is the bottom two paragraphs of Post #17 of the sticky, which are bolded and in blue.

If I can still use the one more day (and add on Water Park prior to final use) that would really be a great savings for our family.

The policy is stated on the WDW website. You are eligible to activate 12 tickets in between the two year span the tickets cover. I used 2 tickets in Sept. 10'. I used 4 more in May 11'. And I just used 3 more last week. I am eligible to activate 3 more between now and Oct 1st, 2012.

Shades of Green can give you lots of good info on how to BUY your tickets, and what tickets you need, but they can't give you any valid advice on how to ACTIVATE those tickets. Those tickets aren't worth the plastic used to print them on until they are activated at the WDW ticket window.
