Military Ticket

Does anyone know if you can get fun for free using the military program at the gate? Or do you have to get the ticket online? We leave for Orlando shortly and I am overseas and will the ticket would not get here in time.

Used it a few years ago, was able to get tickets at the gate.

It looks like they use TroopID, and everything I am seeing says you need to register at that site first to verify your active duty status.
